Hoche Avocats advises FNB Private Equity on the purchase of Cafés LEGAL
Hoche Avocats advises FNB Private Equity on the purchase of Cafés LEGAL.
A coffee roaster since 1851, Cafés LEGAL is a century-old brand and one of France’s leading coffee roasters. The Cafés LEGAL brand offers a wide range of products, accessible to all, in all formats consumers can expect: beans, capsules, flexible pods and ground coffee.
Cafés LEGAL operates from a dedicated production site in Le Havre and employs 130 people, 105 of whom work on the industrial site. The company generates an annual turnover of around 60 million euros.
FNB Private Equity supports local SMEs, both financially and in terms of strategic and operational issues.
FNB Private Equity was convinced by the management team’s development project and has positioned itself in this support project as part of a growth and redeployment strategy for the Cafés LEGAL brand.
With this transaction, FNB Private Equity becomes the majority shareholder in the company alongside the Management. Christophe Pouyès, currently Managing Director, will become Chairman of LEGAL SAS. Vincent Flouquet, who has more than 35 years’ experience in the agri-food sector, particularly in the coffee market, is assisting FNB Private Equity and the management team in this takeover.
