Hoche Avocats advises DENTRESSANGLE Capital on tax aspects related to the entering into exclusive negotiations with Abenex for the acquisition of EDL.

DENTRESSANGLE Capital, the majority investment company of the DENTRESSANGLE group, has entered into exclusive negotiations with Abenex for the acquisition of EDL, a European player in software for medical imaging and diagnostic services.

Founded in 1994 in the Bouches-du-Rhône region of France, EDL has developed the Xplore software suite, which offers its public and private healthcare establishment customers a full-web, integrated solution for improving information sharing and the operation of medical imaging technical platforms.

Owned by Abenex since 2021, EDL has expanded its European footprint by taking significant positions in Germany and Switzerland. The company has also established a foothold in Belgium through the acquisition of Thélème, which specializes in software for nuclear medicine, and more recently in Austria.

With this transaction, EDL will be able to continue its international expansion and provide solutions across the entire spectrum of medical diagnostics, not just in the radiology sector.
