Hoche Avocats advises La Fourche in the process of taking over the activities of Aurore Market under a sale plan
Hoche Avocats advises La Fourche in the process of taking over the activities of Aurore Market under a sale plan.
Following a bidding process conducted as part of a conciliation procedure (prepack cession), La Fourche, the online organic shop specialising in responsible consumption accessible to all, is acquiring Aurore Market.
Founded in 2018 by Lucas Lefebvre, Nathan Labat and Boris Meton, La Fourche is strengthening its activities and its position in the online organic sector with the integration of Aurore Market.
With this merger, the two players, who have built their model on a membership system, will have more than 75,000 customers (16,000 for Aurore Market and 60,000 for La Fourche). Customers will now have access to a catalogue of 4,100 products (compared to 2,500 for Aurore Market), a hundred or so co-created La Fourche products, 100% products of French origin, zero waste delivery in large cities and suburbs (40% of the territory eligible in 2022 and 80% in 2023), an anti-waste department, and a glass deposit system in Ile-de-France.
La Fourche, which has grown steadily since 2018, is becoming the leading independent French online organic player.
